There is no dialog window or format optionsġ0. When I Type "text" in the command line I get a box to type in. I get a message "the image is not available in this customization file" Other people are talking about issues similar to this one in other discussions here-in.ĩ. I cannot get the (check mark ABC) icon onto the command. There are a bunch of clouds with question marks which appear instead of common icons, like "spell check".
None of the items I am looking for were found.Ĩ. I just did an installation "repair" from the add remove change programs menu. I cannot find a command or Icon for "viewport". Other peculiar things are missing like "measure" and "Divide". Each time I could not fined the Text toolbar.ĥ. Each time I turned of all running programs and disabled virus checking and firewall software. I actually loaded the program twice because I missed the express tools when I loaded for "Typical Installation". There is no toolbar entitled "Text" or "Multi-Line Text" There are no commands in the "all Commands" menu which say simply "Text" There are no text icons similar to the old standard "A"Ĥ. These are the only titles under the toolbar heading: Under the ACAD.CIU Toolbars heading there is no folder which is titled "Text Toolbar" or "Draw tool bar". I don't understand where I am to load from.ģ. I browsed to ADT2006 and could not find any headings describing "Draw Toolbar" or any folders labeled "Customization". By clicking the open button I am lead to a browser menu which shows Plotters/ pmp files under the heading Files of Type: Customization Files.
The ACAD.CIU File is already apparent in the pull down menu - I assume it was already loaded.Ģ. I'm sure I loaded everthing correcty, Everthing else seems to be okġ. I loaded ADT twice now, each time being very careful to turn off all programs running in the background (including firewalls and virus checkers). It seems that the upgrade there, but I cannot get it set up as a tool bar or tool icon. If I highlight existing tex,t and then "text Edit", I get the full blown text edit tool with all the features. I can type in it, but I cannot scale it, choose text style or other commands. If I type Text, I get a box to type in, with no other features attached to it. Under the "All Customization Files" "toolbars" list, there were no "Text toolbars' included in this list.
Other than that, no other text commands or toolbars are apparent. with the CIU Command List (all commands), out of the box, there are no Text icons or text commands other than "Text Style" "Text Style Control" and "Text Window". I am setting up my tool bars for this new version ADT2006.
